Baby went to the 1 month party of another cousin. His name is Daniel. There were lots of food and people at the house. Everyone was so happy. There was even a BIG BBQ lamb on the table!

There were also other babies at the party, this little lady is one of them! Isn't she cute?

Baby is not just adorable to the Aunties, the uncles are also very fond of her. No worry about not enough people to take care of her throughout the meal.

As usual, baby received a lot of attention from all her Aunties. She particularly had a lot of table food to eat. She can now hold a spoon and feed herself rice without help. Of cause she must also be in a good mood to do it properly.

Baby went to one of her uncle's birthday banquet last weekend. She was having so much fun playing on the stage!

May be she will be a soccer baby...

We were sleeping in my old room when staying at Grandma's place. Baby is not the type that will sleep easily; she will be playing at different corners before sleeping. It normally takes at least 1/2 hour to make her sleep.

During Deepavali holidays, we all went to stay at Grandma's house for a few days. Baby was having lots of fun at the garden and there are more physical activities. The only drawback is there are lots of mosquitoes too!

After 3 weeks, baby's hand is a good as new. The cast has been removed and she is back to her normal self. However, last week she was having ulcer in her mouth and was crying constantly at night for 2 days. After she got better, I was down with tonsillitis for a week. It was the worth sore throat experinece I have in my life!

Baby injured her elbow after a fall from her pram. Her right hand need to be put in a cast. Poor baby...... We felt very hurt seeing her in a cast, but baby get used to it very quickly. The cast will be on the hand for a week and the doctor will check the x-ray again to see how is the progress. Full recovery will take about 3 weeks. We hope she will get well soon.

Today is Hari Raya Puasa, a festival that is celebrated by all communities of the country. Not to mention it is also a long weekend for many of us. Thus, there are a lot of people out and about visiting their friends and relatives.

Our nanny has gone back to her home town for the long weekend too, so we brought baby along to Grandpa's long time employee Uncle Zainal. He used to be working for the family as a driver when baby's great grandpa hired him and we have known him now for 4 generations. He retired more than 10 years ago but we still visit him every year during this festive season. He has so many grandchildren now compared just 2-3 years ago. It is such a good time that families and friends can get together for a reunion during holidays, we still have it during the Chinese new year, but as years gone by, there are less and less people who are able to make it, because we travel to the different parts of the world and we have less kids now compared to the last generations. Uncle Zainal's house was filled with laughter of the young children.

Baby had a "Green Packet" from Uncle Zainal's family and a packet of sweets too.

Baby of cause liked to see all the kids and have some of the delicious lunch which for her is the bamboo steamed rice which is much loved by everyone who likes local food. She enjoyed it very much too. But then again, she ate almost anything these days - exploring her taste bud as much as possible.
Lunch was delicious and we had a great time having the beef rendang and Longtong for lunch. One of Uncle Zainal's grand child - Kristina is 4 mths older and she is very adorable indeed. She has a pair of big eyes and long eye lashers, everybody in the family were dressed up so nicely in traditional Malay bright costumes. She is older but feel lighter when mom carried her, it's about time Xin Ning to keep fit now :)

My finger will have to do if the pacifier is not available during bath time.

Sunday begin with a trip to the fish market at Pontian. We bought a big fish for baby's everyday lunch as well as some ikan bilis. The market is wet but not too crowded.
There was a coffee shop next to the market. Baby had a taste of the best coffee in Pontian. It was introduced by a local friend of Grandpa. The coffee wasn't thick but the taste is strong and bitter after taste that goes well with the smoothness when it goes down the throat.
On the way back home, we stopped by a few stalls by the road for some fruits. While waiting for grandma, baby and grandpa was spending some quality time under some shades.

We went Cafe Cafe one Saturday afternoon, though it was a long ride, it was worth it as the pasta was marvelous and one of the better ones in town - the Aglio Olio/tomato sauce spagetti, bread sticks and mushroom soup (certainly not Campbell soup), however, green salad was showered with too much olive oil and became a bit too oily. Baby also had a great time walking on the shop floor and being friendly by saying HI to all the other customers. However we regretted a bit as the weather was just too hot to saty in the car and it took us 1 hour to reach home due to the traffic jam.

Wee! This is fun!

No prizes for guessing who is the center of attention. However, baby is not always willing to look into the camera.

Baby later went to another Aunty's house to play with more lanterns. Everyone likes to play with baby.

We had a wonderful dinner at Grandma's place during the Latern Festival. Baby even got a battery powered mini lantern to play with!

Baby's teeth is beginning to show very prominently when she opens her mouth. She always try to bite Mom when trying to clean her mouth.

Baby's hair is getting longer...... and tummy is getting bigger..... May be a hair cut is a good idea.

Baby was in Causeway Point on Wednesday night! This is the first time we brought her there. She was quite excited about it too!
