Went to a fancy restaurant in Singapore without XN and DH on Saturday morning.

Went to Muar again during the weekend. Ate at the usual places. The food was fantastic as usual. We had breakfast at the dimsum place in the morning and the bao was also very nice. DH loved the fish ball and XN only wants to eat the bao but not the meat inside.

Checked out of the hotel at about 1:30pm and we went to the river side to see what is there to play.

There are a lot of children play things at the river side! DH likes to go to all of them but unfortunately there was a heavy rain this morning and all the equipment were wet.

After the fun activity, we went for lunch at about 2:00pm and reached home at about 5:30pm. It was a nice weekend, since Muar is only 2.5 hours away, so it is not a long drive for everyone in the car it is only a short nap away!

Went to the garden to feed the fish one weekend morning! The weather was very hot so all of us are sweating heavily, especially DH. There are many fish in the pond and they like the fish food we brought instead of the white bread most people bring there. DH was very excited to feed the fish and they finished the entire packet of fish food on that day! He sweat sooo much that day, this T-shirt was all wet.

DH's hair is so long now. Some one in the restaurant was asking if he is a girl! But after seeing he is so naughty, their mind will change!

Mmmm... DH and XN is imitating that man in the rubber suit again. But DH has forgotten all about it just one day after we returned home.

Took the monorail from the hotel to the mall when in KL. DH and XN loved it, it was a short ride because the monorail in KL only has a short route

DH just cannot stop doing it....

Went to KL for the weekend, there was an Ultraman show at the Mall. Two of them saw it one time and everyone is doing the Ultraman pose for the rest of the day. Especially DH, he will be a fan of the man in the rubber suit a.k.a. Unltraman in the near future.

Went to Pontian for lunch. It was in a residential house about 2.5km from the Pontian junction to Kukup. We are the only table at lunch time. We are still the only table when we left after 1.5 hours of lunch.

The weather was very hot this few days. But the location is consider as very breezy and can be considered cooling for this kind of weather.

The wild boar curry is the special dish and it taste very nice too. There is also the fried fish which is very fresh.

DH was running around the whole place as usual.

The shop also has a car work shop at the back, specialised in fixing VW cars.

After lunch, we went to the Chicken Delight shop in Pontian town. It is value for money as each ride only cost 20 cents.

In the evening, the dusk sky turns into a dreamy orangey colour after the day time heat wave.

Last week was 清明節. This time we brough along DH and XN. The roads are less crowded as people has already finished their duty on previous weeks and the experience is more relaxed. The best part of the trip was DH and XN get to each ice cream! We finished at about 10:30am and went for lunch.

DH's new hair cut by Grandma has been influenced by style from the final frontier.

We went to this year's Pasir Gudang International Kite Festival. There are many many people there during the weekend as usual. We also have to brave the Pasir Gudang highway traffic jam to get there and back.
XN bought a Pooh Bear kite but the rain just passed and the wind is not so strong. As a result, the kite cannot fly.
DH also likes to look at the kites. He will point out the animals as they fly up in the air one by one.
There are many many new medium size kites this year compare to 2 years ago when we were here.

On the 2nd day of new year, we had the usual dinner with all the 阿姨, 姨婆 and 姨公. DH and XN is practically running around the restaurant, looking at the fish tank and playing with their cousins.
On the 3rd day of new year, we went to an uncle's house for lunch. DH is rather friendly. any one can carry him.

CNY reunion dinner. We had Yu Sheng and other good stuff. After dinner, we prepare the kid's goodie bags for new year's day.

XN and DH using chalk to draw on the tarmac. It is like a big black board and get wiped away by mother nature when it rain.

Xin Ning and Winnie ahyi handmade pizza for lunch for all of us. Even the dough was made from scratch. It takes a lot of patience and exact measurement of ingredients to make a good pizza. XN was very interested especially when she was asked to lay the different ingredients on the pizza dough before it went into the oven. Need to press and stretch and press and stretch the skin... The pizza is finally ready!
