We went  to Kluang during the school holiday this week

Went to a lovely organic farm. We have visited the farm a few years ago and the flowers and plants were still very nice.

These purple flowers love the strong sun.

The weather was not very hot but still need to wear some hats to keep off the sun. Fortunately, when we were there it wasn't raining. It rained heavily after lunch!

After the farm walk, there was a fish feeding session. The children loved it!

There was also a short rabbit feeding session.

After the farm visit, we went to have cheese cake in a cafe near town.

The cheese cakes and coffee in the shop were very nice and worth a try!

It was DH 9th birthday and we had a 20 person Chinese dinner at a new restaurant in Taman Perling. There were 2 cakes, one was a car shape jelly cake and the other was an ice cream cake from Baskin Robbin. The ice cream cake tasted fantastic!

XN and DH is having a special day off school this Sunday. We went to have branch in a quiet Coffee Bean in town! It was very nice as there was no crowd and the place has lots of space and bright too!

 XN and friends were taking part in the breakfast competition, and they worked hard to prepare these for their presentation. However they didn't manage to get into the final round, working together was a good learning experience though.

Cooked American breakfast on a not so rush Saturday morning :-)

We went to Muar for a short trip during the June school holiday. Before the trip we had lunch near the Stulang Laut Istana. Siting under the shades felt cool even when we were eating hot noodle soup!

It was a very hot day, the sunset along Muar river's mouth was 

mesmerizing.

Its XN birthday! We had a few small cakes to celebrate this special day. Their cousins were staying with us for a few days too!

Went to Desaru during May (Ramadan Month), we had the entire beach for ourselves!

Celebrated DH's birthday at a restaurant and we had a superman agar-agar cake! 

Our final night at Bali, we went to Jamie's Kitchen again for dinner! The pizza and pasta tasted wonderful!

Just before dinner, DH was so hungry and he can't wait. Fortunately, there is a McDonald's nearby for an emergency cheese burger. Wait.... make that TWO cheese burger!

 We are back in Bali again for a short holiday in March, always nice to come here to relax. We came back to the same local restaurant for lunch and we are still entitled to 10% discount as a repeated customer. Surprised!

Staying next to the room we stayed last year, this room can sleep 6 people!

We celebrated 姑姑 birthday this evening with a home made cake! The cake was not too dry. Baked 40mins at 180 degrees Celsius in our microwave oven works perfectly.

During the 2nd day of CNY, we went to visit a playground when visiting some of our relatives and friends. It was fun!
