Today is sushi day, mom has decided to make sushi for lunch. The result was surprisingly delicious! The sticky rice was the key and the fresh ingredients were added bonus.
These Kappa sushi may not looked very pretty, but they sure tasted better than any thing from Sushi King.
This is the rojak sushi that was invented on the fly. Put every ingredient we had in the mix and it tasted good too!

It was cake baking time this Sunday morning! Both of them woke up early today so they were ready to help. When DH saw the weighing scale he asked what was the clock used for baking a cake?
Both of them were assigned with different tasks. DH rubed the inside of the baking tray with butter. Since he is very good at creating a big mess, this job was the best for him. XN was in charged of swifiting through the flour. She did it very well too.

We went to the Zoo again this Saturday morning at about 10:30am. The weather was HOT! The water park was the main focus today.
Before taking the tram to the water park, we stop by on the way to look at the animals.
At the water park enterence, there was a train with a grassy body.
Mmmm.... this is the first time the children saw a type writter. Perhaps they we thinking why there was no monitor to go with the keyboard?
DH did not go into the otter exhibit to sit on the animal, it was just a statue of an otter.
Endangered animals need your donation.
Right next to the water park is a play ground with a lot of unique equipment for the children. They liked to play there a lot.

We went to an organic farm near Kluang during the 1 week school holidays in March. Since it is only about 1.5 hours drive away The weather that day was cool and there were slight rain, it is a great day to be at the farm.
One of the money crop in the farm was the dragon fruit. Since it belongs to the cactus family, it needs very little water to survive.
We also went into the mushroom dark room, where it is very humid and damp, just the way the mushrooms liked it.
There also some cows at the farm for visitor to see and feel. They are all very well kept and maintained.
The children also liked to feed the little birds in the farm (forgot the name of the species).
There was a fish pond near the plant nursery just beside the lobby. The children were given nets to try and scoop for the small fish in the water.
It was not easy to net the fish! They were all very small and they swam very fast!
DH was standing precariously near the edge of the water. The water was a bit too low for him, as long as the fish stayed at the bottom of the pond, they were safe from his net.
After a fanstastic organic lunch at the farm, we went for the famous Kluang coffee at the edge of town about 5 mins drive from the farm towards the town center.
DH did not eat much during the tea break but he did enjoy the butter toast with his cousins.
It is not yet DH's birthday, but it is around the corner. Mom has already started the pre-celebration by getting a cake for him!
DH is always ready to celebrate any birthday, it does not really matter if it is his birthday or not. So he is naturally very excited to see candles on the cake.
DH sings along the birthday song too.
With the help of XN, they huff and puff and they blew saliva on the cake.
