June is XN's birthday month, it is a new milestone for her as she turns 7 and enters the primary school this year. She likes her school and new friends she met so far. Hope that she will continue to enjoy studying and grow up to be a nice and lovable girl.

Whitney ah-yi brought her out the whole day and she enjoyed every single moment. She even had a chance to decorate her own birthday cake! To our surprise, this blueberry cake actually taste nice!
Jiu Jiu has hand made this wooden house for her, it is so nice and big enough to accommodate all her rabbit families figurines.
Thanks to all other aunties, uncles and grandma who gave her the lovely presents as well. :)

It was the first Sports Day in school for XN, we have to get up early to report to school at 7.30am. When we reached the sports hall, there were already a lot of young athletes, they were in red, blue, green and yellow shirts to represent their teams. Everyone looked so excited and nervous.
Although it was a hot and hazy, many parents showed up to support the students, the competition started only at 9am after the ceremony & speeches...
XN took part in one of the races which is to suck the water in the sponge and run to the end of the lane to squeeze the water as much as possible into a bottle. Her team didnt not come in first, but good job for being able to complete the task! Try again next year!

We had a mini biscuit decorating class on a hot Sunday afternoon at home. XN and DH were using the icing sugar to decorate the biscuits, they seemed to have ideas of what they should do to the biscuits.
DH's masterpiece - it was supposed to be a face. Can you tell?
XN's much better looking.
But they both tasted equally good!

Went to Melaka during the school holidays. Arrived on a Sunday and look at the check in crowd! Waited more than 2 hours before checking in!

View from the room is a good pool view! Look at the crowd at the baby pool!

At night went to the best Nonya food in town. Must try the assam fish if you are there. The chendol was fantastic too!

This is the shop front. We tried to go for dessert the next day but it was sold out at 9pm.

Took a ride to the sky to see the Melaka night. Very impressive!

The river cruise was also a highlight of the night. It was really value for money and it lasted for more than 1/2 hour!

Grandpa and Grandma also enjoyed the ride very much.

The next day we went to have dessert on the streets of Melaka. The chendol was not as nice as the one at the restaurant but it was still good.

Went to lunch at the hard rock cafe. The place has very nice music and very big space but the food was so so only.

During dinner we went to New World Restaurant which is also near to the hotel. Very nice food and reasonably priced as compared to back home.
