XN is down with flu, and DH is starting to get runny noose and some cough. Hopefully this will not spread to everyone in the house.

DH in denim. After taking a few more pictures, he is starting to get bored from looking at the camera.

Last Friday, we took DH out for lunch! Mom insisted to make him wear denim and fancy T-shirt for just a short 1 hour lunch at the local cafe. He needs to wear as many clothes as possible before he out grow them!

DH went to the pool for the first time this Sunday evening. It is the best activity for this kind of super hot weather. He seems very calm when in the pool, sitting in this little floater. Mom also went in to the pool with him. He feel safe in the floater and does not even mind if mom is not near by his side. He is more curious about other people in the pool and keep looking at what others are doing than posing for pictures. Should have come down to the pool earlier when the light is better for taking pictures. It was a busy day at the pool because the weather is just too hot these few days. When is the rain going to come and cool off some of this heat?

It is about time DH get ready for his first dip in the swimming pool. Mom got him a new floater. This morning's trial shows that he should be able to stay in the floater by himself! Life guards will be posted around him to ensure if the ship toppled, he will be safely picked up.

Playing masak masak is her all time favourite. Her collection is ever increasing and she will be very happy to have guest over because she can then "cook" for them. I wonder when DH grows older, will he play with his sister? Meal ready to be served.

We celebrated grandma's birthday in advance over the weekend by having buffet dinner at a local hotel. The food was so-so, quite a lot of selections, the most delicious dish of the night was "Johor Laksa", the gravy was superb! However, the atmosphere was suitable for a family gathering as there is no time pressure to finish the food and the space is big enough for XN to run about. XN & DH's uncle Jack, aunty Florence and gu-gu were back from Singapore and the kids played with them throughout dinner. XN squatting on the floor to test out daddy's camera. Grandpa and DH. This is currently his favoutite facial expression - sucking his own lips. Mummy, Xin Ning and the birthday girl - grandma!

Xin Ning and mummy De Hao waited for us to finish our dinner for so long that he dozed off already...

De Hao is 6 months old today! Time flies, compared to April when he was born, he now weighs double the weight and definitely more chubby. He flips over whenever he lies on the bed or sofa, and can even "eat" his toes now when we put him on the bed. He likes to be carried and if he doesn't see anyone around him, he will shout for attention by making loud noises. He is definitely a joy to the family together with her jiejie XN. Thank God that he is a blessed child and may him continue to grow healthily for the many many years to come.

Preparing the lanterns for 中秋节! Trying to hang as many as we can on the swing! We had a great time watching XN perform on stage and also fun with the lanterns afterwards. Look at the lantern made of milk powder can! They are fire proof.
