We celebrated grandma's birthday in advance over the weekend by having buffet dinner at a local hotel. The food was so-so, quite a lot of selections, the most delicious dish of the night was "Johor Laksa", the gravy was superb! However, the atmosphere was suitable for a family gathering as there is no time pressure to finish the food and the space is big enough for XN to run about.
XN & DH's uncle Jack, aunty Florence and gu-gu were back from Singapore and the kids played with them throughout dinner.
