The next morning after breakfast, we went out to walk around the apartment. The children spotted a play ground near by and DH insisted to play there.

DH brought along 3 toy cars and he let them slid down the slide one by one. He can play this game all day. Mean while, XN and Mom went to town to do some shopping by taking the free city shuttle bus.

After some time, DH also took the city shuttle bus to town to join XN and Mom and also to have some lunch.

The shuttle bus stop was very near to the apartment, the famous pastries shop that sells apple strudle, Corica is also very near. We bought some for tea and it tasted fabulous.

At night, we went out to have dinner with the children's cousin DX! He is a very adorable 2 year old boy. Can you tell who is DX and who is DH in the picture?

Before entering into Perth City, we made a detour to Fremantle Weekend Market. There were many many people at the market and we bought some T Shirts.

The main attraction for the children was of cause the big playground that was next to the pier. The place was very well shaded from the sun because its location was just below a huge pine tree. However, the heat was what we need most now!

The weather was rather cold due to the rain and the sea breeze actually made it even colder! XN and DH really did not mind, they were just busy having fun.

For dinner, we ate at the food court next to the market. It was very crowded but the food was not very nice.

After dinner, it was time to check into our hotel in north Perth. The place was a very new apartment building that was used as a hotel apartment.

The place was very nice indeed. 2 rooms, 2 toilets, a balcony and there are even a gas barbecue! Too bad we did not get a chance to use it. The only item that we used a lot was the washing machine and dryer.

On the way back to Perth, we stopped by Bunbury again for lunch. Because of the rain, we did not have the chance to visit the beach at Margaret River. So we took a detour near Bunbury to a beach house for retired folks.

The wind was strong, but it was not that cold.

The sand on the beach was very nice and clean, the waves were not strong because its location is at a natural protected bay. The folks staying there is very lucky to have such a serene view of the Indian Ocean.

For lunch, we ate at the local Subway sandwich store at the near by super market. Even here, XN and DH wanted to take the kiddie ride.

Our vehicles were full of stuff we bought over the past few days. Mostly food items that we did not finished.

That night, we cook pasta for dinner. It was good idea because it was raining heavily with thunder for the entire evening! We spent the night in the cabin without going anywhere.

Next morning, we had pasta for breakfast. It tasted even better after it was left over night! The caramel coffee was very tasty too.

The rain stopped briefly in the morning and there were puddles of water every where. Since the area is dry most of the year, even this much water was not able to turn the soil into mud.

The cabin looks small from the outside, but it was actually having 2 rooms and a very spacious toilet with shower.

There was even a barbecue pit next to the cabin. Too bad it was too wet for us to use it, or else we will be spending the night in the great outdoors too!

It was an enjoyable stay at the cabin in Margaret River. The weather does feel colder after the night's rain. Time to head back to Perth for the rest of the our holidays.

After lunch, we went to the Berry farm to get some niec jam. The highlight of the place is the playground! XN and DH played there for a quite a long time.

The rain had stopped and there are some brief sun shine peaking through the clouds. DH wanted to take off his shoes and run around in the sand.

The flowers there were beautiful. Nice colours everywhere.

We had desert and tea at the cafe in the Berry Farm. The cake tasted great and even the birds liked to eat them too!

Wow, there were even strawberrys growing in the bushes next to our table!

For Lunch, we went to the Watershed wine yard. It was drizzling when we got there.

XN had the kid's meal. Which wasjust burger and some fries.

DH also enjoyed his lunch, especially the fries,  it is always his favourite. There was also a playground at the restaurant, even it is a wet day, the children was still playing there!

The background was the restaurant building and there are the grape vines too!

After breakfast in the morning, we went to the Margaret River Sun Flower Animal Farm to feed the animals. The place was very well kept and very clean too. The buckets of food contains bread which smell nice and good for even human consumption!

Even where the pigs stay it is also very clean and there were no foul smell at all. Look at the size of that animal, it is huge!!!

DH loved to feed those animals and he was not afraid of even the biggest horse in the farm.

XN also enjoyed feed the animals, especially the smaller ones like the ducks and goats.

The chickens liked to eat the sun flower seeds. All XN had to do was to sprinkle some on the ground and they will peck them up one by one.

Suddenly, it started to rain again and we had to end the tour at that point and head to our next destination.

That night, we had wood fire pizza at Margaret River, it was very nice. The weather is turning cooler and the rain did not stop. We went to our cabin after dinner and we checked ourselves in.

The cabin had 2 rooms and we can cook at the kitchen too. It was a cosy place. The rain stopped briefly the next morning and we can go out for a walk around the cabin area.

There are 8 cabins in the same area, and the vegetation around the area are very unique with wild berry and brightly coloured flowers. If the weather was sunny, it will be a perfect place to have a picnic.

There is even an axe on a block of wood for chopping fire wood! Cool!

We reached Busselton Jetty at about 4pm and it was drizzling, the sea gulls are glad to see us because XN and DH were feeding them with bread that we brought from this morning.

The Jetty had a very nice and clean beach, but there was no one in the water as it was getting a bit too cold!

Taking the open air tram to the observatory at the end of the 1.5Km jetty is a fun journey.  DH and XN really liked it.

The marine life at the bottom of the observatory are really breath taking! Schools of fish can be seen swimming in the waters. Even if we are about 1Km out from shore, the sea is only about 30 feet deep.

We took the same picture the last time we came to this place many years before.
