XN's school annual field trip is back again! This year the school brought the students to Singapore Science Centre, the theme is Human Body, as the school is learning about our body this year. Everyone was excited about the trip, we reached as early as 8.15am to catch chartered bus at school. A group picture before we entered the building.

 DH followed XN this year, for the first time, he saw so many students together, but he was not bothered or intimidated at all. I hope he will be the same when he goes to kindy next year. When we reached there, he could recognized the place as he had been to watch the dinosaur exhibition, and he was interested in only the dinosaur and nothing else.

 First stop, is the Sound Exhibition where you can see all kinds of intruments that make sound. XN was probably listening to music...

They attended a sound show as well, where there were two young men explaining how sound is made, and the different pitches and volumn. The room was filled up immediately because there were another group of students from other kindy as well. Everyone was paying attention and enjoying the tricks from the performers.

 There is a water park in the centre as well, all the kids love it when they see it!

Good boy! 

Last Sunday, XN's cousin came over to our house to play, the kids were happy to have guest in our house. We invited XN's friend for lunch as well. It was fun to eat out with four kids, but they immediately made the restaurant a "market place" the moment they stepped into the shop and made themselves at ease like at home. I am glad the waiters didn't chase us out!

After lunch, we bought a piece cake and had a small birthday singing celebration for YJ, everybody is facing the camera except for the 主角, and no one is interested in the cake after that, haha. I hope these people will grow up and remain as good friends forever! HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you Yu Jing!

What a lovely night this is. We are both sweating but we are enjoying this.
 

Five, four, three, two, one! Lift off! 

We decided to make a trip to Desaru this Friday afternoon. It was a last minute thing because we did not want to venture to far away from home. We told the expressway E22 which was only about 1 hour journey from home to Desaru! That was very fast! DH and XN were initially scared of the water but after a while they started to play on the sand and wet all their clothings!

It was the fasting month so there were not many people on the beach this late afternoon. Click here to see how empty the place was. We practically had the beach to ourselves, it was fantastic! XN and DH really enjoyed playing on the sand and sea water.

We made some sand castles, collect sea water using the cups and buckets we brought from home. Ofcause their clothes were all well in the end.

After having a clean shower, XN and DH were hungry and we had a mini picnic on the bench.

DH was discovering the snack Mamee Mee for the first time. We left the beach at about 7pm and we reached the restuarant at Taman Molek at about 8pm for dinner. The return journey was also very smooth without any heavy traffic. In all, it was a relaxing trip indeed.

DH went to have a haircut. It was never easy for him and he must sit on Mom's lap the last few times throughout the entire process. However, this time he sat there alone willingly for a good ten minutes without even making any noise and even followed the instructions of the stylist.
