There is a recreational area besides the swimming pool, it is very quiet in the morning, probably all tourists have gone out exploring the city already. There is also a reading cornet with comfortable sofa, hmmm... nice to have a cup of coffee and read book in the afternoon here...
We were delighted to see a table football game in the room, it is FOC! We used to pay RM5 per game at Desaru Resort.
Nice pot of plant but I don't know what's its name?
View from the room, it is along the office buildings.
There is a nice Starbucks cafe down the road, it is not crowded at all. We had our breakfast upstairs overseeing the US embassy across the road.
DH wanted to go to MBK to see the 3D art gallery but we walk all the way there but cannot find it ! It is a very big mall and looking for it wasted a lot of time. Finally, we asked the information counter at the ground floor and they say it closed few month ago! The website did not update the latest news!

2nd stop after lunch - True Love cafe. This cafe has many huskies dogs, I think the family sells dogs to the wealthy people in Thailand and opens this cafe upon demand. We had to pay an entrance fee to get a piece of cake and drinks plus a one hour session to play with the dogs. It was a nice experience, the environment is very clean. We changes into disposable plastics shoes when in the dogs ground.
The dogs are not afraid of us, DH also enjoyed his close up with them very much.
We can touch and sayang them. When they get comfortable, they will just lie down and nap by your side.
2 attractions a day and everyone was very tired in the evening, so we went to a Thai restaurant along the same road for dinner.
The deco is very nice too... BKK has so many nice cafes and restaurants compared to JB...
Part of the food we ordered, it is quite authentic Thai food. The manager said not spicy when we asked, but it was still hot and spicy for DH and XN, so their dinner was rice + tomato fried egg. Haha.
My favorite dessert - mango sticky rice.
Thai specialty products =)
29-05-16 - 2nd day in Bangkok, we walked to a nearby (but not so near) French cafe for breakfast. It was almost full already when we reached, they have a good selection of western breakfast with tea and coffee. The ambience was good as well, my first time trying out egg with hollandaise sauce.
Roasted chicken for dinner. The price is not exactly cheap for Bangkok, however, it is worth a try for the experience.
Our first stop of the day was Chatuchak Market, we went early before it got too hot as that's usually what the comments I heard. Still we didn't manage to cover all (too hot!), I think we covered only 10% of total shops there. Still, there were some good buys & coconut ice cream and sweet coconut water!

Our first stop is to visit the ARTBOX night market. Before we go, we stopped by EMQUARTIER which is just next to the BTS station to have dinner, this is really a nice shopping centre with many expensive brands as well.
ARTBOX night market entrance
Some corners are nicely decorated for people to take photos. But we didn't go as we were not sure if we need to pay to go into the area.
The Lipton iced tea tasted very good, not too sweet, but very cold! We posted our photo and linked to their site in Instagram so that we could get an ice lollipop made of Lipton tea. :-)
This is interested, drinking jelly water from a huge syringe
More food
Mush mellow dipped in chocolate sauce and peanuts
Off we go to Bangkok for the first time, met Mr Oreo man at the airport and had a photo with him happily before boarding.
Taking some rest while daddy is doing the check in. The hotel is really nicely decorated and it feels comfortable as most of the colours are pastel colours.
Pictures of the room
The bathroom is so big!
