Cousin's from KL are here to day to spend the afternoon with XN. The activity at home includes watching TV and playing masak. As usual, everything is scattered on the floor. XN likes to take toys away from cousin HQ because she also wants to play with the same toy as he does at the SAME TIME!

This weekend there is a family lunch at the Zon Hotel. The place is very quiet during lunch time and Grandpa had a discount card. There are only 3 tables including our 2 during lunch time. The food is nice and the service is OK. XN saw many aunties and uncles who cam back from East Malaysia and Taiwan. She also gets to run around the place safely since there is no other customers in the restaurant. Everyone enjoy it very much.

A lot of Grand Aunties came to see small baby today. He is in his happy mood as usual and everyone took turns to have a picture with him. 太婆 is going back home today and we quickly took a pictures with her too!

YOU'VE GOT MAIL FROM NZ!

I picked up the parcel from the Larkin post office on Monday, finally after much anticipation and tracing, I received the post card from the postman requesting me to pick up a parcel from NZ last Friday! The contents are presents from Boon 姨, she was so worried that the parcel will never be sent to Malaysia that she has actually insured for it! Each of us has a birthday present from her! Ta-da: Baby Hao Hao has 2 shirts, XN has a magic wand and fairy feather! Mama has a very nice bracelet :-) THANK YOU BOON 姨！

This is the silver bracelet for mama! It is the second one from her, years ago, she bought me a colourful bracelet as well.

Xin Ning likes to have these rides nowadays, Barney, fire engine, ship rides...etc, all are welcome! When she was still small, she was contented with just sitting on the cars without any movement. But now she know these cars can move, and she will demand for coins so that it can move, I have to limit the number of rides every time we go shopping. The owners are really smart, they always place the toy cars at the obvious places where children will see and the eyes spark the moment they step in - it is just like my experience with lollipop at the bookshop, XN will always request for one when we pay, simply because the sweets and candies are at the cashiers!

This week, the Hockey Junior World Cup is being held in Taman Daya Stadium and Singapore. We went to catch the game together with Uncle HC. He used to play the goal keeper during school time. The stadium was almost full for this semi final between Germany and Australia. Baby is asking why the goal keeper is wearing a helmet and all those big clothes. When the team change sides, she also noticed and ask why the goal keeper is no longer guarding the same place? This is also mom's first time coming to a hockey game. She also feel very excited. During Half Time, there is a water jet giving moisture to the pitch. The 2nd half there is no goals at all, may be all the players are getting tired. So it went into extra time and Germany Finally won with a golden goal ending the game 3:2. They will meet Holland on Sunday.

XN is very interested to look at the durian opening process and even wanted to help. But she does not want to eat the fruit! The durian is very nice because the seed is small and there are lots of meat.

Grandma and small baby. We went over to eat durian at night. It is the durian season, the lack of rain recently will give a good durian harvest this year.

We went to Bali for a short holiday. It was a very nice trip because the location is so quiet and peaceful. We stay in a hotel that is far way from the city. There is no beach but the sound of the wave can be heard from the room. More pictures in Picasa web album.

We went to Takashimaya and there was this live Transfomers performance at the atrium! It was very nice and many children were excited while they were performing on the stage. At the end of the show, everybody gets to take a close photo with the transfomer characters but Xin Ning is just too scared to go up the stage no matter how hard i persuaded her, what a waste!

It is her birthday again! This time she is 3 years old. How time flies. She is ready to go to preschool anytime now. This year we celebrated her birthday at home with grandpa and grandma. The is also a cake which is also very nice from Seasons. Small baby is also there to celebrate with big sister. Next year, he may be able to sing Happy Birthday together with us!

Baby's cousins from KLwas here last week. We went shopping together at Popular bookshop. After that we went back home to play at the play ground and have snacks!

He likes to smile. If you talk to him and ask him nicely, he will do it. Usually after having milk, he will be very happy.
