We went to Pontian for lunch on Christmas day. We saw more cars than usual going towards that area. The town's traffic looked heavy even though most of the shops were closed for the holidays. The restaurant was near to side of the river. Due to the recent rains, the water level was higher than usual. There were fish sellers along the side of the road, we went to take a look at the merchandise while waiting for the food to arrive.

XN, DH and their cousin were having a good time throwing stones into the river. We even saw a few frogs along the mangrove trees.
